Notes from Amanda:
According to the wisdom of the Chinese 5-Element Theory, this month officially marks Summer. The element this time of year is Fire, a time of growth, vitality, flourishing, & joy.
Since we are still in the early stages of Summer, we are emerging from the energy of Spring - and this practice is intended to create more ease amidst this transition.
Like a sprout reaching for the fiery sun, this practice will build & vent heat while maintaining a rooted connection with the ground.
