This class is intended to invigorate your body after a night of sleep, release stagnation, and welcome in a fresh morning. The practice begins with breath awareness and the opportunity to set an intention for the new day. Begin to notice sensation and wake up your legs, hips, knees, ankles, and toes.
The practice will guide you into an exploration of the spine, and move into a breath-centered flow. Slow down with bridge pose, and feel free to invite in any final movements or postures until the body is ready for savasana.
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Meg (she/her) is consistently humbled to hold space for others to practice presence, and has been doing so since 2014. She specializes in yoga nidra, which provides students with the opportunity for deep relaxation of both conscious and subconscious layers. Meg encourages students to prioritize breath awareness and to listen compassionately to the body, mind, heart, and spirit. Paired with self reflection, she believes these practices revitalize our intuitive knowing.
