(17 min PRACTICE) Spring Equinox Meditation w/ Amanda Leaveck

As we tip into the brighter half of the year, this visual practice embraces seasonal themes of de-thawing, clearing, planting, and sprouting.

We start with the opportunity to drain stagnant energy that’s accumulated in the body throughout the winter months, releasing it into the earth as compost. As we sink into the deep, fertile soil of this season, you will be invited to follow a metaphorical journey of planting, sprouting, and nurturing the seeds of your psyche.

Like the natural world, what has been hibernating and gestating under the surface of the still soil of your dreams will now be extending into physical form towards the light of the sun.

What is growing naturally? How can you create an environment that fosters it’s natural growth? See reflection questions below for further inquiry (questions are also asked as a part of the practice).

Reflection:

  1. What is sprouting in the landscape of my consciousness? What is rising up from the last six months of darkness?

  2. What structures, habits, actions need to put into place need to be put into place to protect this sprout? To nurture it?
