We made a custom PLAYLIST on Spotify to enjoy with this class…
Happy Equinox! If you are in the northern hemisphere like I am, you are celebrating the arrival of spring with themes of planting seeds and rebirth. If you are in the southern hemisphere, you are welcoming in fall and the season of letting go.
While there are differences between the two, and this class may have an energetic theme towards spring, both represent finding balance within change and the opportunity to set an intention for the season moving forward.
Class begins with natural breath awareness, is full of breath-centered flowing movements, balancing postures, expansion of the hips and joints, and ends with half pigeon and a bridge variation before closing with savanna. A block or stack of books is optional, hope you have a lovely transition into your new season!
