(42 min YOGA) Winter to Spring Transition w/ Greg Hines
Listen to the playlist
We made a custom PLAYLIST on Spotify to enjoy with this class…
Spring is characterized by the wood element in Chinese five element theory. Wood reminds us we need versatility: a root, a sprout, structure, flexibility, aerated soils and nourishing waters. A corresponding impulse to thrive demands attunement to optimal ratios of all the biomechanics of yoga poses.
This Katonah practice explores the vectors of our hips and shoulders to support pliancy in our backbends. You will need a blanket and may use a block.
