(23 min YOGA) Midday Yin Reset w/ Amanda Leaveck
This short sequence of three long held stretches is intended to offer some relief and rejuvenation in the middle of your day!
Class starts with a sensation-rich toe squat to open up stuck energy in the bottom of the feet (free them from those shoes!). A standing forward fold offers decompression for the spine, length in the back line of the body, relief in the neck, and blood flow to the brain.
End your experience with a deep hip stretch in low lunge, giving your body some much needed release in the muscles that become compressed from excess sitting.
Don't forget to enjoy the resting posture at the end! I promise- your to do's can wait. You will be able to approach them with a much clearer mind after some stillness & self care :)
