This gentle hatha yoga class is intended to bring awareness to the vagus nerve. Part of our parasympathetic nervous system (aka "rest and digest”) aspect of life, the vagus nerve runs from the brain to our digestive tract.

Class starts with a guided meditation to visualize and connect with the vagus nerve. Throughout practice, postures are intentionally held for several minutes as an invitation to tone the vagus nerve through breath and conscious awareness.

A gentle class with introspective aspects, this session can be done at any time of day.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Anne currently works professionally as a massage therapist and craniosacral practitioner, and continues to teach Yoga for the pure joy of it. Her yoga practice is very self-reflective and heart centered. She loves to practice and share yoga to maintain fluidity in the body, to breathe deeply and clearly, and to feel joy from within. Her "work" continues to evolve, grow, & change - she is ever curious of the unfolding process of this mysterious life.
