Beginning with a full spinal warm up, this practice focuses on opening the front and back of your heart space integrating Manomayakosha.

Explore the electromagnetic field of the heart space through guided visualization and movement, as well as reflect on the potency of emotional energy within that field.

A wrist stretch prepares you for a gentle seated garudasana (eagle pose) that creates compression in pectoral muscles (chest) & a spacious stretch along the rhomboid and deltoid muscles (upper back body). A supported upper thoracic spine (upper back) stretch leads you into savasana. Please stay resting as long as you'd like!

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Maya Elena is a songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and a 200hr Yoga Teacher.She completed her training at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA. Maya has shared her songs around the country, and is now incorporating them into yoga practices. Concepts she enjoys incorporating into yoga practices are existentialism, philosophy, mythology, self-care, self-compassion and body positivity!
