(60 min YOGA) Yin + Soundbath to Build Stress Resilience w/ Amanda Leaveck & Erin Anderson
This class offers sound therapy, meditation, and nourishing yoga postures to activate the natural restorative mechanisms of your parasympathetic nervous system. Throughout class, you'll be offered cues to guide you in the exploration of physiological responses within your nervous system, while at the same time being encouraged to practice courageous presence within these sensations.
Reflection Questions:
Before class: take a few breaths and scan through your body. What places feel buzzy/vibrating/unsettled? What places feel stuck/stagnant/compressed?
After class, take a few breaths and scan through your body. Revisit the places you wrote about before class and see if/how sensations changed.
As I’m stretching, where in my body do I notice tension/clenching/holding? What happens when I lovingly breathe with those places?
