This yoga class is designed to soothe a highly activated nervous system. We begin in a standing posture, inviting small and simple movements to invite the body to discharge energy. Simple sequences are intended to calm the nervous system by inviting the breath sync to movement. Midway through class, we transition to a seated/lying down practice, encouraging the body to settle into gravity.
Throughout the entire practice, many options are offered. Remember - absolutely everything is optional! There is no right or wrong way to soothe your nervous system - healing looks different for everyone. Listen to what your body needs and practice the freedom to follow it's wisdom.
